Gholamhossein Nami
b. 1936 / QomGholamhossein Nami is a prominent and renowned Iranian Artist born on August 23, 1936 in Qom, Iran. He received his bachelor's degree from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Tehran and his master's degree from the University of Wisconsin in the United States. the first Chairman of Iranian Painters Society(IPS) Gholamhossein Nami was a significant figure in teaching art and had a long career as an artist. He won several awards throughout his life, including the Gold Medal winner of Italian Academy of Arts in 1970 and the Oscar d'Italia 1985 award by Italian Academy. Nami's works have been showcased in various exhibitions and galleries around the world. Some of his notable exhibitions include "Recent works and retrospective of two last decades by Gholamhossein Nami" at Khak Art Gallery in Tehran in 2011 and "Masters of Iranian Art" at Negah Gallery in Tehran in 2020.
